Brian Shively

Age: 20

Experience:  Brian has been working ducks and geese for the past 8 years.  A long time ago, a friend and fellow guide taught him how to use a short reed goose call and has only perfected on the first teachings by a now 12 year goose commander.  He has a range of different goose calls that will allow for different pitches to try and match the aggressiveness of the geese trying to land.  The first passion of his is laying out in a corn field and bringing the geese down, but has began to work on his duck calling for the past 4 years with the expert tutelage of Jay.

Brian has also spent many hours waiting for monster bucks to walk by.  He has been hunting deer for 8 years now and has attained quite a bit of knowledge from his father Jim.  In the past, he didn’t have that great of deer hunting spots so patience is something that Brian has gained and he doesn’t mind sitting and overlooking a field all day because he knows if that is what it takes to kill that monster, then it was all worth it.
