Jay Shively

Age: 22

Experience:  Jay has been chasing Ducks and Geese all over NE Kansas for 8 years now. Jay has been guiding friends, family and out of state people for free the last 4 years. He goes above and beyond when he is scouting. He looks at the fields natural cover, where the birds are landing, what time they arrive, he pays close attention to what the birds formation looks like in the field and mimics it with his decoy spread, he finds where they are coming from and he watches the birds until dark to make sure they were not spooked off the field.

Jay has been running and gunning for wild turkeys for 5 years now. He doesn’t have any problems filling his turkey tags. The kid can flat out hunt some turkeys; he can stalk right up on them or he can call them right in, when he hits the woods the turkeys just don’t stand a chance.

Jay has been hunting big whitetails for 8 years now. He patterns deer with late summer trail cameras to find the biggest bucks and then goes after them. His passion is bow hunting, especially during the rut. You can try and reach Jay during the first 2 weeks of November, but you will more than likely get his voicemail box during the day because he will be up in his tree stand.
